A Clinton/Obama status quo Presidency is NOT what we voted for!

The jury is in. This is going to be a Clinton/Obama Presidency (in that order). The appointments are all DLC Clinton machine right wing dems, and that just ain't good enough. And it CERTAINLY isn't what Obama promised.

For openers, it's now clear that Middle Eastern diplomacy isn't even on the table, plus the capstone of Obama's domestic promises (taxing the elites) is now being procrastinated for SEVERAL YEARS -- in spite of dire warnings of many economists who say that to extend this endless Christmas for the elites will be suicidal to our Bush-bankrupted economy.

It's also imperative to remember that BOTH Clinton and Bush worked to redefine what would have been very right wing eight years ago into the alleged "centrists" of 2008. Indeed, the 2006 Congress of dem traitors were puked out by the DLC Clinton machine. Conversely, the so called “progressives” of 2008 were merely the centrists of year 2000.

Is the Clinton Presidency (oops, I mean the Clinton/Obama Presidency) going to be a "lesser of the evils" when compared to the corporative fascism and religious fanaticism of the Bush horror show years?

Undoubtedly yes . . . but probably not much. Hey, Obama's even keeping Gates for Secretary of Defense. Naturally there are all kinds of rationalizations for keeping a George Bush appointment (remember, Obama said he would immediately change ALL of Bush's decisions), but it's now heartbreakingly obvious that Obama has no intention of honoring the multiple promises he made during both the primaries and Presidential campaign.

Indeed, he has already locked us to the dead and rotting past we were so fearful could only come from John McCain.

In short we have been snookered again. Obama's watch word was "change", but so far it’s wall to wall status quo. President Status Quo Obama.

So, back to our ONE party dem/pug political system. Back to having our international policy being dictated by recycled neocons, i.e., being a tail wagged by the Israeli lunatic fringe right wing (who the Clinton's have been licking the boots of for decades). And back to having basically our ENTIRE GOVERNMENT suck up to national/international elites.

So does the evidence to date indicate that we're going to take even one giant step away from having America's working class treated like cattle in a Dictatorship of the Rich? Nope. Maybe a "baby step" will be allowed by the elites for strategy reasons, but a giant step -- in your dreams.

Ironically, the Republican Party may be in ruins, but the {DLC Clinton machine} + {Israeli right wing extremists} + {the national/international fraternity of Greek God like elites} couldn’t be more alive and well.

Moral: It's time to jump out of this political box once and for all. Look, Obama’s April Fools are as good as its ever going to get; and this means a one dem/pug political party of elite puppets and professional status quo NON boat rockers will be the decorated Police State America has been morphed into.

But ONLY if we keep putting all our money into this lose/lose political game.

Dear God, isn't it obvious by now that politics (all of it) IS the problem? Maybe once upon a time we could look to our nationally elected officials to be representatives of the will of the people, but that Camelot has long since dissolved into dreamland.

Politics now is ONE THING ONLY: a gaggle of hypocritical, greed obsessed, willing assassins whose souls have long since been sold to multi millionaire and multimillionaire elites. They all feed at the same hog trough (dems & pugs equally) which the elites provide for their bought and paid for zombies (think "Judas media"!) and they are the mortal enemies of our Constitutional Republic and even bare minimum morality.

Naturally, there are a handful of honorable and courageous exceptions, but they simply prove the rule.

In short, our "political system" is unequivocally THE ENEMY.

But knowing this can be our liberation, since only to the degree that we don't come out of denial, delusion, and cowardice and see this system for what it truly is (i.e., BOTH parties are far to the right of the vast majority of American citizens and voters) and "wake up" and stop drinking ground glass because the elites have Pavlov-conditioned us to think its medicine, is the degree to which we can jump out the political box, "find ourselves", and start living like grown up, patriotic Americans instead of brainless cattle on the way to elite slaughter houses

It's hard not to see contemporary America as something out of a science fiction movie in which there are the ones who eat (elites and their political zombies) and the ones who are eaten (basically, the entire human race). It's not deja vu all over again. It's the 6,000 old year Have and Have Not horror all over again -- and a Have and Have not horror which apparently Obama is going to do nothing substantive to change. Indeed, he's turning out to be just the new "slumlord" in the American Dictatorship of the Rich.

So, where does this leave us?

It leaves us in a hopeless political hell. A few years ago, it could be said that politics is part of the problem, not the solution. However, these last eight year, followed by Obama's status quo flips/flops, have changed that into politics IS the problem. Our new mantra is that POLITICS IS THE PROBLEM.

Hence, our only hope of saving our Constitutional Republic and the rapidly disappearing necessary ecosystems for human existence is to jump out of the political box once and for all.

Meaning? Well, here's a starter which was a response to an earlier submission of this writer from an American named Wayne:

"For now, I urge all who TRULY want radical change to make a small, but highly symbolic gesture. Go down to City Hall and change your voter registration (if you are a registered Democrat or Republican). Register as No Party Affiliation, as I did, or register as a Green, Socialist, Libertarian, Constitutionalist, Centrist, Moderate, or even Marijuana Party -- anything other then the Big Two.

If enough of us do that, believe me, the Jackasses and Pachydems will sit up and take notice.

The next step will be to rescue the presidential debates from the grasp of DePublicans and return it to some group which will insure fairness, as the League of Women Voters used to do."

However, almost certainly the only ultimate "corrective" to our political prison is to passionately commit ourselves to finding and proclaiming the truth of 9/11.

It's now obvious to barnyard animals that the Republican/media (i.e., elite propaganda) account of 9/11 as being, at worst, the ineptitude of the Bush Administration is cosmic b.s. Ineptitude hell! The Bushivicks (with probable international help), ENGINEERED this atrocity from hell.

Most of us already know that the Bush/Republican version of 9/11 has more holes in it that a fisherman's net. Why, for example, were all members of the bin Laden family scooped up within hours after the tragedy and immediately flown out of the country? Why was Bush "on vacation" when it happened? Why were the pilots who flew the planes KNOWINGLY trained in America? And why did the Bush Administration totally ignore the literal blizzard of warnings that predicted what was going to happen down to very specific details, etc., etc.?

But perhaps most of all, there are now literally countless sites on the net which are encyclopedias of scientific data and studies about how responsible, objective observation of the falling buildings demonstrate that these catastrophes simply COULD NOT have been caused by the relatively small impact (in each building) of one plane. Indeed, the overwhelming visible and structural evidence is that only massive and meticulously timed explosions WITHIN the buildings could realistically account for what followed – which is exactly what all the films of the event show, so can there be any realistic doubt that preplanned detonations actually DID occur and were the true cause of the imploding towers?

Thus, the turn of phrase of choice, is that 9/11 was indeed an "inside job".

What’s being articulated here is simple. Since our political system is now totally broken and is in fact our political prison, the only game in town left is to pursue non-political strategies. And the ultimate "unfinished business" of America is 9/11.

To the degree that we are unwilling to pursue the truth of 9/11, America will have tragically lost its soul. Conversely, to the degree that we confront 9/11, we are 100% OUT of the political box, because our political system of elite controlled robots will do everything in its power to bury this truth PERMANENTLY.

Arguably confronting the truth of 9/11 is the ONLY thing which can radically change our political system/prison, since, in the words of the mystic J Krishnamurti, "It is truth that liberates; not the effort to be free."

Or, in the words of an ancient Chinese Zen Master, trying to transform politics WITH politics is "like trying to wipe off blood with blood."

God willing, the eight years of Bush horror, immediately followed by Obama's status quo flip/flops is a line most Americans will simply not cross. Instead they will jump out of this elite-constructed political box/prison once and for all and commit their lives to alternative modalities to save and heal our dying country and planet.

Godspeed to President Elect Obama, but keeping the faith that he will somehow significantly transform our political system/prison back into our birthright Constitutional Republic now requires holding on by our fingernails.

The only realistic alternative to samo, samo is . . . us.

Has Obama turned into a liar, liar, pants on fire President Elect?

It was just announced that Obama is no longer prioritizing stopping astronomical tax breaks for the America's multi millionaires and multi billionaire. In other words, the elites. The announcement left open the "possibility" that he might to it later. Yeah -- in your dreams.

The title of the piece is: “Obama may delay high-income tax-cut repeal: aide.”

Whoa! Is that ever a red flag for coming national disasters! Its right up there with the support of the archetypal traitor to the United States of America, Joe (I hate Democrats!) Lieberman; a support which extends to letting this slime even keep his committee chairmanships. And even barnyard animals know this has little or nothing to do with the magic "60" number, since Lieberman will vote against Democratic projects more than any random Republican.

OK, there's two items here:

(1.) First Obama's high appointments to date contains ZERO liberals and ZERO indication that his commitment (which he voiced over and over again!) to the Israeli/Palestinian conflict and the Middle Eastern chaos in general would be approached with compromise and diplomacy. And surely diplomacy is "appropriate" since the State of Israel DIDN'T EVEN EXIST a few decades ago, until the Palestinians were told (April Fool!) huge areas of what used to be their country was now "another" country.

Understandably, the Palestinians were a tad upset and these two factions have been warring ever since. To get a feel of this abacadra (engineered by English aristocrats), imagine what would have happened if the infinitely arrogant English told countries like France, Germany, Italy, or Spain, etc. that (April Fool!) huge areas of your country are now "another" country.

This history is lost on our younger citizens, but for those of you who don't realize this, please keep in mind that the ONLY "justifications" for this metamorphosis of what was 100% the State of Palestine for centuries, were "religious comments" from an arbitrary religious book to which most of the planet is sublimely indifferent, and thus should be kept light years away from the REAL WORLD of national/international social dynamics. However, this is the sort of thing theocracies do without blinking an eye.

Indeed, there was NOTHING our genius founding fathers took more seriously that setting up fire wall after fire wall to keep the religious fanatics the English so enthusiastically "dumped" into the new world from contaminating a government straight from the Enlightenment with their wacko hatreds and stupidities.

But back to Obama. The tragedy (at least for millions of progressives and liberals) is that Obama's approach to the Middle East is turning out to be a mere recycling of DLC/Clinton right wingers (never forget the 2006 congress of dem traitors were puppets filled with the hands of the DLC).

Apparently we must live with the irony that John McCain wasn't the one to chain us to a dead a rotting past, but President Elect Obama is past, past, and nothing but past -- which means the Middle East, in all its multiple tragedies will be samo, samo.

Is this exaggeration or hyperbole? It would be if even two or three liberals had highly placed appointments, but there are fewer liberals in Obama's "team" than there are dogs on Mars.

Item number two is what millions of us have been praying might still happen. OK, Obama has been "bought off" (a near certain explanation) when it comes to international policy, but there still was the question of his national policies, but the announced catastrophic possibility that he will extend tax breaks for the elites indefinitely is literally giving the finger to working class Americans.

Jeez, haven't we been down this road before? The Bush Administration was basically run by elites and the Israeli lunatic right wing fringe (specially the neocon cabal who wagged the tail of American foreign policy for at least eight straight years).

And to paraphrase Arnold, quote the neocons, "WE'RE BACK"!

Our only counter force to the fascist, corporate elites was the virulently anti progressive DLC Clinton machine, which pumped out the 2006 Congress of right wing traitors.

Talk about being between a rock and a hard place -- and a rock and a hard place which so far differs only minutely from where we spent the last eight years.

Come on Barack, do you really want to go down in history as an Israeli extremist right wing/Clinton machine/Obama President? Don't you get it that that makes you a "status quo" President, when your overwhelming mandate was to RADICALLY CHANGE THINGS?

A couple of weeks ago it would have still made sense to "wait and see". But today's announcement that the astronomical tax breaks for America's elites may go on indefinitely, combined with an open hostility to the progressive Americans who got him through the primaries and supplied the passion and infrastructure to elect him President in the first place adds up to the criminal betrayal not only of progressives, but working Americans across the board.

But what about all the hopeful things he keeps saying about changing America? Well, in the light of the totality of his record to date of appointments, interviews, and savaging of progressives and liberals, take some advice and don’t hold your breath about ANYTHING.

Any hope left.

Not much.

The core cancer of planet Earth is STILL the Israeli/Palestinian "conflict".

It's easy to forget that the lose/lose for all concerned Israeli/Palestinian horror show has been THE social cancer that has metastasized to the entire planet.

Basically everything negative and destructive that has been happening all over the planet for several decades is either directly or indirectly related to this archetypal failure of civilized human existence.

However, at least by now the entire planet understands the ONLY way to deal with this cancer is with diplomacy and compromise.

Remember those words: "diplomacy" & "compromise"? Unfortunately they were banished to another galaxy by the neocon cabal which was the dog that wagged the tail of American foreign policy for at least the last eight years.

Indeed, they disappeared down the same toilet as "accountably" and "justice".

Now President Elect Obama promised over and over again that his administration would "even handedly" deal the stinking mess of the Middle East.

However, so far he hasn't even thrown a bone to the Palestinians and the Muslim world in general. Thus, by default, the only implication is that his approach to the Middle East will be "recycling the old" militant approach, which his mandate emphatically VOTED AGAINST.

Mr Obama (you're not President yet), did you or did you not promise a dramatically different approach to the Israeli/Palestinian conflict ("conflict" -- such a disgusting euphemism)? Did we or did we not hear you talk about diplomacy and justice?

And speaking of which, what's the deal about the walking filth of Joe Lieberman? Does the DLC machine the pukes out right wing dems really think progressive Americans are duped into thinking this traitor to the Democratic Party and the United States of America is being "supported" because of the magic 60 number?

Good Lord, even barnyard animals know Lieberman will vote against dem programs more than any random pugs; thus, he is being supported for profoundly different reasons. Gee, I wonder what they could be? Couldn't have anything to do with some hard core deal making Obama made during the presidential campaign with the hard core ANTI diplomacy folks when it comes to the Middle East, could it?

A couple of weeks ago, in spite of some key appointments, it was still possible to think (pray!) that Obama would rise to the moral/rational challenge to start promoting a diplomacy approach to the Israeli/Palestinian conflict -- and the Middle East sewer in general.

But those days are past. Too many appointments are just recycled neocons. Too many appointments and comments, etc. are just party line DLC dems (remember 2006 Congress of DLC dem traitors?).

So long as Obama doesn't find the moral stature to be true to his campaign promises about the Israeli/Palestinian conflict and an even handed approach to the Middle East in general, we are big time back in samo samo land.

And here we thought it was going to be John McCain who chained us to the dead and rotting past.

The tragedy is that virtually everything Obama has done to date is telling the world that nothing fundamentally will change about America's involvement in the Middle East.

And THAT means the militant cancer will just keep metastizing and metastizing and dragging the rest of the world (especially our profoundly damaged country) into this toilet straight to hell.

Will America EVER AGAIN honor words like diplomacy, justice, and accountably? Alas, so far the DLC/Obama Administration doesn’t seem to even know how to spell such words.

The heart breaking tragedy is so long as the healing oils of diplomacy and compromise are not poured on these lose/lose and limitlessly anguished troubled waters, the ENTIRE PLANET will never stop being held hostage to the putrescent Middle East.

Time to start taxing the deadbeat "religious institutions".

Christian, Judaic, Islamic, Brand X -- whatever. Why are we giving these institutions a free ride? And they ARE "institutions", just like corporations. And speaking of which, we're doing basically the same thing with corporations (which get to pretend they're "individuals"?), but one rip off at a time.

Three things are up there in lights:

(1.) Where were these infinitely hypocritical religious "businesses" during the horrifically evil Bush years? Were they out there, talking morality to these fascist devils? Were they confronting the Republican engineers of 9/11 with the teachings of the Hebrew Prophets, or the teachings of Jesus, or the teachings of Mohammad? In your dreams! They must have been hiding in basements or closets, because they betrayed America and the human race by sucking their thumbs and claiming this was being "religious".

We should NEVER, NEVER forget that these smug cowards basically gave the finger to bleeding humanity in the ditch. They could have done so much if they had confronted the Bush monsters with the morality of their founders. But, to paraphrase T.S. Elliot's ending to the "Wasteland" (an exact metaphor of the Bush years), they contributed a whimper, not a bang. It's as if America was dying of thirst, and these "great religions" wouldn't give us their sweat.

(2.) Now here's something the religious institutions are have raised to a science. By definition, all these murder-in-the-name-of-God human cockroaches have their roots in your religious institution of choice!

(3.) And oh yes, item number three. The spine of our Constitution is the three branch division of powers (which Cheney almost single handedly destroyed) and the SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE. Our founding fathers knew all about religious nut cases, which the English tried to get rid of by enthusiastically dumping them into the “new world”, so they put fail safe after fail safe to keep religious fanatics out of government. However, in every way imaginable, contemporary religious fanatics have tried to desecrate our Constitution and turn America into a brain dead theocracy (religious dictatorship). Indeed, they are doing so as we speak.

So, let’s just say three strikes and you’re out.

Let's get this straight. These institutions (really businesses) TOTALLY turned their back on America and the world when the Republican sociopaths were running amuck. And they did this for EIGHT STRAIGHT YEARS. Where were they? Why didn't they speak out? And please save their token hypocrisies for people too retarded to know the difference.

Also, they desperately tried to engineer a religious coup d’etat during the Bush years. And since Bush was also a member of this dufus army, they even had Presidential backup.

And as if that wasn't enough, these free ride institutions somehow generate a chemistry that gives potential lunatics a free pass to massacre people. Oh, but that's ok, because it's "justified" by some religion.

There are not enough barf bags on the Earth to bear the rationalizations of religious terrorists. Regardless of WHAT religion they are brainwashed by, their rationalizations are all basically the same. You can see them a mile away, with their hate-filled, glassy eyed righteousness.

OK, summation: unforgivable betrayal when we infinitely needed them, a lethal "host" for all varieties of religious terrorists, and even a declaration of total war on our Constitution.

It's time to start the wheels turning to tax the trillions of bucks they've got squirreled away (probably, mostly in secret accounts in Switzerland). And more publicly, not to forget the incalculable value of their land holdings and possessions -- and on and on. In short, these religious corporations are rich beyond the dreams of Midas. Hey, it’s easy to be rich when you’re an un-taxed corporation.

This sentence is like a mathematical equation: They betrayed us, they conjure up religious terrorists in the MILLIONS, and they tried (and are still trying) to turn America into a dictatorship of subhuman religious fanatics . . . AND WE DON’T EVEN TAX THEM!!!

Many (most?) of us already suspect evolution will select out these social dinosaurs in due course, but before they slip into oblivion, let's put an end to this criminally immoral double standard that the working class basically pays ALL the taxes, but these religious businesses keep getting away with trillions and trillions of stolen money (appropriate taxes unpaid is just another name for theft).

ps: What would dramatically help to heal our broken economy? How about the irrefutable social justice of taxing these institutional deadbeats? The establishment religions are so astronomically rich that such taxes for them would be like barely noticed paper bullets.

Flash! Progressives know full well DLC "centrism" is a code word for elitist right wing dems.

Thanks to the combined efforts of George Bush (and Bill Clinton!) the "continuum" of political viewpoint is now totally meaningless. Indeed, the 2008 centrism of the DLC would have been VERY right wing eight years ago.

So, save the continuum nonsense for political TV sitcoms. Progressives and Liberals don't "compare" themselves to camouflaged right wingers -- dem or otherwise. We have our own compass and vision and our only commitment is to honor the will of the American people.

And speaking of the will of the American people, Barack Obama was elected assuming he would not immediately start morphing into an Obama/Clinton Presidency. We also assumed he would make appointments grounded in the factual, historical certainty that the ONLY hope for dealing with the Middle east metastasized cancer is with even-handed compromise and diplomacy.

However, with respect to the Middle East, things are starting off badly and so far diplomacy and compromise do not seem to be on the agenda.

The sad truth of the matter is that so far Obama hasn't even thrown a bone to the Palestinians and the Muslim world in general and this is NOT the will of the American people, but the will of . . . who? What deals did Obama make during the election to start off so one sidedly?

We thought he was going to be a man of peace and diplomacy, but you would be hard put to find anyone in the Muslim world who still has much optimism about that.

Of course, many appointments are still forthcoming and we can pray that President Elect Obama will "rise to the occasion" and be a passionate man of conscience and intelligence and transcend the fettering political deal making during the election.

Having said that, however, millions of Americans (certainly most progressives and liberals who supplied the political financing, effort, and infrastructure that actually elected Obama) are now deeply concerned that the DLC machine will continue to pump out more right wing dems so beloved by the fascist elites and that Obama will continue to give the Palestinians and the Muslim world in general the impression that the talk he talked during the election will absolutely not be the walk he walks AFTER the election.

The bottom line is that so far Obama seems to be consistently rejecting his base (and progressives, like it or not, ARE his base), as well as ignoring his promise to deal with the Israeli/Palestinian conflict with diplomacy and compromise.

This is not a matter of not giving Obama a chance. More appointments notwithstanding, he IS being given that chance as we speak, but the specter of the DLC taking over EVERYTHING again is an agonizing and suicidal mistake (never forget that the DLC had it’s hand up the puppets of the 2006 Congress of dem traitors).

Lest we forget, this is exactly what we voted to LEAVE, i.e., to get away once and for all from these elite-sucking-up DLC centrists. We thought Obama was going to be a sort of "new deal" and a quantum jump into high rationality and ethics.

But so far, all we’re getting is a recycled DLC -- which is more than a tad ironic since we thought only John McCain would be chaining America AGAIN to the dead and rotting “past” this Presidential election gave Obama an overwhelming mandate to leave.

What have these last eight years taught us about institutional religions?

Religion? Now let’s see, where have we heard that word before? Oh yeah, it's all that stuff about how we're supposed to support "the church" and make sure we give what little money the elite vampires haven't managed to suck our of our lives.

Hmmm. But why would we do this? Well, now that's a very, VERY hard question to answer. In most of the "high" Christian religions (e.g., Catholicism, Episcopalianism, Anglicanism, and a few others), the guys are really into very elaborate "gowns", so maybe it's partially a clothing thing, since some of these dresses or gowns must cost a bundle.

But it's unfair not to include Zionism, the "lower" Christian religions, the Muslim churchy institutions, and on and on. And we certainly don't want to leave out the "Armeggedonites" since they have this quaint doctrine that the world (solar system, local group?) is going to go boom any day now, which sounds a tad science fictiony, but a cult is a cult is a cult.

However, let's return to the question of how “religion in general” has affected our lives during these last eight years.

Hey, that's cake to answer. The answer is that it has been perhaps the number one albatross around the neck of the human race.

Have they "helped" us to deal with the fascist Bush Administration? Well, they have certainly played a helping role, but that role has been to help the moral filth they claim to denounce.

Look at the evangelicals for openers. Let's cut to the chase with this. The evangelicals are simply NUTS. They think they have a hot line to God that gives them the right (the duty!) to kill as many Muslims as they can. You know, a 21st Century "Crusade" so passionately supported by our pinhead president.

And the Catholics? Yeah, the Catholics, with an occasional "pontification" from the official pontificator (that's his job). You can stand on your head and cherry pick a handful of remarks from an encyclopedia of babble, but what has actually happened during the last eight years is that the Catholic Church has virtually NEVER put conscience and morality first. All we got was b.s, b.s, and more pontificating b.s.

The church has a useful notion of sins of "commission" and sins of "omission". Well, the Catholic hierarchy has set a high water mark for sins of omission. Yes, we're talking to you guys in the gowns. You haven't done squat to help the tortured human race during the insane Bush years. Jesus would have wept at these years of concentration camp like horror, but "The Church" was the archetypal coward who looked the other way and kept walking to ignore bleeding humanity in the ditch.

Of course the Israeli lunatic right wing Zionists (with exceptions that prove the rule -- true for all these examples) are similar to evangelicals who far from merely ignoring things are big time murder in the name of God folks.

Now the Muslims have their special thing too: the "holy warrior". If that isn't an ultimate contradiction in terms, what is? "Holy" warrior! Give us a break. It's "holy" to blow up innocent people, many of whom are actually working to resolve the Israeli/Palestinian conflict? But bombs don't discriminate, do they?

So what are we saying here? What HAVE we learned about religion during these Bush/fascist years?

Basically two things.

(1.) Institutional religions (always with small exceptions) are masters of talking the talk, but certainly haven't had the grit or courage to significantly walk the walk that WOULD HAVE BEEN WALKED by Jesus, the Hebrew Prophets, and the Prophet Mohammed. The point is simply that these Bush/Republican monsters should have been at least "verbally" confronted by the various religions, but all we heard was the squeaking of mice. Ironically EXACTLY the same thing happened with the gutless 2006 dem congress. So this mice congress and these mice religions have unforgivably betrayed the human race.

(2.) A thousand times worse, we learned that most religions always seem to have a VERY large contingent of murder in the name of God psychos. You don't have to look very deep into political/social dynamics to see the infinitely perverted "hand of God" psychology that justifies heartless murder.

Sometimes in life it takes a crisis to see another person for who they truly are. And often this is profoundly disillusioning and permanently life changing.

This writer, at least, wonders how many citizens of the Earth (thousands, millions?) have finally HAD IT with the dinosaurs of institutional religions. What good do they do? They certainly weren’t there when we "needed them"! And NOTHING is more the very face of Satan (if there is one) than a religious crazy who thinks his/her hot line to God gives them the Sarah Palin-like righteousness to massacre other human beings.

Perhaps these last eight years will hasten evolution to select out these self obsessed social institutions once and for all.

Just imagine how wonderful it would feel if the Earth wasn't crawling with murder in the name of God human cockroaches.

Obama’s EPA appointment will supremely define his place in human history.

This decision could be made any minute, but so far Obama’s ultimately important appointment is still confronting us with what could be a fatally wrong choice for the Earth.

And that's who heads the EPA. NOTHING is even in the same solar system as the indescribable importance of this choice, and if Obama keeps tending down the centrist/Clinton road, our planet is doomed.

Clinton was a non event when it came to AGGRESSIVELY defending Mother Nature. His "charisma" was wasted on widening ozone holes, global warming, and the nonstop pollution of our skies, rivers, and food.

Did he do anything? Of course, ol' Bill always managed to do the bare minimum to keep himself out of major trouble, but was he an "environmental President"? In your dreams.

These last eight years have pushed the ecosystems of the earth VERY close to species (us!) extinction. This list is too horrific to dwell on (think New Orleans), but virtually every environmental scientist on planet Earth agrees that the Earth has NEVER been so raped and damaged in any eight years of American history.

So, now to Obama and his life and death environmental choice for what's left of the Earth in general, and more specifically, the high functioning ecological systems which are the biological hand of God for human beings.

Will he continue to appoint DLC types and 2006 "Democratic Congress" types (that congress of closet dem Republicans who their souls for probably considerably less than 30 pieces of silver)? In short, will he continue to make this a Clinton/Obama Administration?

The jury is very much out on this and millions of us are praying (or whatever) that Obama won't make fools out of his liberal/progressive base AGAIN. God knows, he’s already done it once when he metamorphosed from that liberal candidate into Mr. DLC/Centrist after we gave him his shot at the Presidency. However, (voila!) near the end of the Presidential campaign, here he was again, honoring the values and policies of progressives -- who ONCE AGAIN were responsible for his election success.

So is Obama doing his "catch me if you can” thing again by already setting an anti progressive tone to his presidency?

Many of us have a high regard for the Clintons. Indeed, many of us feel Hillary Clinton would be a great appointee to the Supreme Court if given a chance. But, there is simply no question that they are middle, middle, and nothing but middle (just like the DLC). And please NEVER forget that what the country now calls the "center" (thanks to the ironically combined efforts of Clinton and Bush!) is now about three standard deviations to the right of "used" to be” the political center eight years ago.

This is why the time has come to trash that continuum, or at least stand up and be counted as a passionate and VERY AGGRESSIVE liberal/progressive.

My God, it's already turning to 2006 again and the DLC and fascist Bush Republicans are doing another "slight of hand" and writing off American progressives and liberals (Obama's true base which is also now the "base of America").

What do you think? Will Obama appoint a patriotic progressive to ANY office? Or will progressive- contemptuous centrists keep “influencing” the rest of his decisions?

But back to the question of questions. Even if Obama has already sold much (most) of his soul to the DLC, will he AT LEAST turn his back on that (dem = pug = elites) world and rise to the challenge of defending the Earth?

Surly our one and only planet deserves an EPA head who will be a Sir Galahad for our mortally wounded planet.

So President Elect Obama, may I respectfully suggest that when you DO fill this ultimately important post, you do your thinking (and praying?) as far away from those "centrists" who have historically treated Mother Nature as a slut, not a lover.

This decision will define your place in history more than any other. Did you give thumbs up to the environment, or thumbs down? Keep in mind that thumbs down means a DLC/centrist-type appointee, i.e., someone who puts band aides on cancer.

If the human environment could talk, all we would be hearing is a near death rattle. In the name of God and the entire human species, THIS must be your appointment that 100% "transcends politics".

Republicans, so called "centrists" (not eight years ago!), the DLC, the Clintons, the elites -- a plague on all their houses.

For this decision, you must honor ONLY your conscience and intelligence. Any other "influence" will lead to the extinction of our species. We have very, very little time left to implement a hurricane of programs to heal and support our God given Earth and this will take an American Hero to passionately, rationally, and morally head the EPA.

No Brand X for the EPA. Only the best . . . or environmental suicide. The entire planet is holding it's breath to see if you vote thumbs up for our dying environment.
